Tuning Guide
Using the Jet4Power meter is very simple!
Just remember that
left = lean and
right = rich
* This is when the yellow power light is on the left side. If the meter is mounted upside down and the yellow light is on the right, then the lean and rich will read the opposite.
Note:
Start your vehicle and allow the sensor to warm up. This usually requires a short ride of the bike or ATV.
Adjust your idle circuit until you are running in the right green (rich) light.
4 Stroke: Adjust until you are running in the right (rich) green light at all throttle positions for maximum power.
2 Stroke: Adjust until you are running in the first yellow (rich) light at all throttle settings for maximum power.
Note: Hitting the rev limiter will cause the lights to flicker from lean to rich in a very rapid motion. This is caused by the non-firing of the motor pushing unburned oxygen in the exhaust.
